Aziz Damani CC 178/4 in 16 overs (Isaneez Emmanuel 55* off 20, Riazat Shah 50 off 18, Charles Waiswa 3/25 in 4 overs, Brian Masaba 2/7 in 2 overs) beat ACC 72/10 in 13.2 overs (Sylvester Rokani 15 off 11, Marvin Kitamirike 2/18 in 3 overs) by 106 runs.

Unimoni Man of the Match: Riazat Shah (Aziz Damani)

Aziz Damani were fresh from a painful first loss to Ceylon Lions at Entebbe the day before and were anxious to have things back in their favor as they took on Africa Cricket Club at the royal hill. Damani won the toss, opting to bat.

It was a tough start as ACC skipper Marvin Kitamirike and Timothy Erumuka quickly dismissed openers Saud Islam, Javian Mcfarlane and Mir Afzal early in the innings, leaving with 50 runs on the board already. However, the entry of man of the match Riazat Shah and Isaneez Emmanuel steadied the ship, both putting on rapid half tons to get the team to a comfortable 178 runs by innings end.

With a required run rate of 12 per over, ACC had a tough road ahead. The second innings got off to a disastrous start when Charles Waiswa picked a wicket at the end of the first over. He and Brian Masaba starred with the ball, picking five of the team's 10-wicket haul, that saw them dismiss all but Sylvester Rokani and Daniel Batuwa, for single digit scores.

It was a free fall from then with the wickets coming down fast, with Damani's all-round performance, having them all out with balls to spare.
