Olila Cricket Club Vs Wanderers

Olila Cricket Club made a massive roar across the Div 1 table after thumping Wanderers cricket club on Saturday at Kyambogo cricket oval by 222 Runs.

Everything was in place for the game of cricket and Olila won the toss and chose to bat. The score on board justified the decision to bat first, opener Damalie Busingye anchored the innings with a massive 86 with contributions from Janet Mbabazi (67) and Proscovia Alako (42) helping the favorites Olila post a commanding 294.

Wanderers Cricket Club didn’t bother in the chase bundled out for only 72, Mary Akwi (14) and Shakira Sadick (11) did put up some resistance but it was a case of delaying Olila’s victory. Kevin Amuge (3/13) and Proscovia Alako (2/14) were the pick of the bowlers for Olila with their neat tidy lines. Both sides have extreme ambitions with Wanderers fighting for their lives to stay in the top flight while Olila are destined to win the league as long as they can take care of their business.
